Expect the best of patient care at First Chiropractic. During your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Jerel Wottrich, he will review your medical history and carefully listen to your symptoms. He does a comprehensive examination, including physical, neurological and orthopedic. Depending on your condition, he may take X-rays for a close-up look at the cause of your pain. After he collects all of the information, he will then advise you of a treatment plan. Treatment typically includes spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and soft tissue massage therapy. Plus, patients are given a wellness program to follow outside of treatment. This may include corrective exercises and healthy foods to enhance healing.

Dr. Jerel Wottrich has successfully treated patients with rheumatoid arthritis, herniated disc, whiplash, soft tissue injuries, muscle strains, headaches, degenerative disc disease and much more. Whether a patient has incurred an injury due to a car accident, sport, workplace injury or spinal medical condition, he creates a personalized treatment plan targeted to treat the underlying cause of pain, loss in range of motion and loss in normal function. It’s never a cookie-cutter approach; it’s patient-centric.

With gentle, manual spinal manipulation, Dr. Jerel Wottrich properly aligns the spine and eliminates any existing subluxations. Manual spinal manipulation also help eliminate pain due to compressed nerves. Physical therapy and soft tissue massage are ideal complementary modalities to spinal adjustments. Physical therapy may include hot/cold compresses and exercises to build muscle strength and improve flexibility and mobility. With soft tissue massage, the muscles are relaxed and circulation and oxygen are ramped up to the injured area to accelerate the body’s natural healing process. Each treatment modality works synergistically to optimize patient results.

Dr. Zachary T Grant

I first discovered chiropractic while in college at the University of Mississippi. While still in college I learned that I have scoliosis in my low back and I was able to experience first hand the power of chiropractic. I always knew I wanted to work in a medical profession and wanted to help people, discovering chiropractic gave me an excellent option to do so.

I decided to attend Logan Chiropractic College after finishing my undergraduate degree in exercise science. I greatly enjoy being able to use my hands to make my patients feel better and work to avoid surgeries or excessive pain killers. Coming from an athletic background I also enjoy working with patients to improve not only the situations that involve pain but also improving overall performance.

My goal is to help every patient I come into contact with not only feel better in regards to pain but to be a higher functioning human being than they were before they started care. I look forward to continuing to meet the great people of Austin and working to improve the overall health and wellness to the members of my community.
